National Indigenous Peoples Day

The CCNCI joins in celebrating National Indigenous Peoples Day. Concurrent with this observance, we express our solidarity with the continued militant struggle of indigenous communities and the broader masses against the pervasive issues of mining, land conversion, dam construction, and other foreign-backed projects under the Marcos-Duterte administration. These projects displace indigenous peoples from their ancestral lands.

We support their fight for self-determination, genuine land reform, and climate justice.
